Statewide Helpline Restructuring Pilot Information
The 6-month helpline restructuring pilot will take place between March 11th at 8am and September 2nd at 8am, 2024. Centers will rotate on-call weeks to answer helpline calls across the state. When centers are not on call for the entire state, they will schedule advocates to be available for urgent center-to-center referrals.
Helpline Restructuring Pilot Guide
This guide supplements the Helpline Restructuring Pilot Training by providing written information about decisions and commitments related to the pilot. It also includes information about how advocacy will be provided during the pilot as well as additional materials that may be helpful. Staff and volunteers are encouraged to seek support from supervisors regarding advocacy skills and actions not specified in this document. This guide is updated frequently and printing is not recommended.

This is an ongoing monthly workgroup for center staff who manage and/or oversee helpline operations at their local center. Meetings occur on the third Wednesday of the month from 2:30p to 3:30p and are facilitated by the Intervention Coordinator at MECASA.
